【Abstract】 This paper focuses on the practical and new type automatic seam tracking system with two dimensions used in CO₂ welding shell of refrigerator compressor. The disign of hardware and software is emphatically described. A microcomputer is the most important controlling element. This system can tracking circumferential weld joint in horizontal position and vertical position with two dimensions in CO₂ welding shell of refrigerator compressor.
