(η6-Arene)Nd(AlCl4)3AIR3催化丁二烯的聚合

【Abstract】 The polymerization of butadiene catalyzed by (η6-Arene)Nd(AlCl4)3--A1R3 system was studied. The effect of arene on the activity was examined. It is found that the catalyst system has no activity when arene is C6Me0. The activity depends remarkably on the character of AIR, in (η6-C6H6)Nd(AlCl4)3-AlR3 system, the activity of Al(i-Bu)3 is higher than that of Al(i-Bu)2H, while A1E13, AlEt2Cl , A1(C8H17)3 have no activity at all. With increasing the amount of Al(i-Bu)3,the catalytic activity increases, the molecular weight of polybutudiene decreases and the microstructure of the polymer does not change significantly (cis-1,4 content about 96%). The effect of solvents on the polymerization activity in (η8-C6H6)Nd(AlCl4)3-AlR3 system is in the order of petrol>benzene> toluene. A maximum value of activity is observed at 50℃.
