【Abstract】 An investigation was made in 199l-1992 of the health of 1309 middle-aged and aged intellctualsworking in a medical university and an engineering university jn Beijing, through a survey of psycho-somatic health and physical examination with the data classified, analyzed and evaluated. The statisticsshow that the top fourdiseases with the highest morbidity are chronic gastropathy (including ulcer).Heart disease, hypertension, osteoarthropathy; hypertension, hyperglycemia and the risk level of highcholesterol. and the detectable rate of abnormal electrocardiogram have all grown higher in directlyHroportion to the age increase of age.
