阶梯形有损光纤中的孤子传输
Soliton Propagation in Lossy Ladder Fiber
【摘要】 在孤子传输中,光纤损耗将导致光场减小从而使光脉冲丧失其孤子特性.为此提出一种阶梯形光纤,其芯径呈阶梯形变化.用变分法分析其中的孤子传输,其数值分析结果表明,此光纤结构能在一定程度上补偿光纤损耗带来的影响,孤子在其中的传输可保持其孤子特性较一般光纤距离长.这种光纤结构简单,具有实用性,同时,阶梯形光纤的参数可以根据需要进行选择.
【Abstract】 In soliton transmission,optical pulse loses soliton characteristic be- cause of decrease of optical field induced by loss in optical fiber.For this,a ladder fiber is proposed where fiber core’s,radius varies in steps.Variational anal- ysis of soliton transmission in ladder fiber is given.Numerical result shows that the ladder fiber can overcome pulse-broadening effect induced by loss;soliton can maintain its characteristic in a longer distance than normal fiber.This scheme is simple,practical and the optical fiber parameters can be adjusted according to the situation.
