【Abstract】 The gene encoding Bovine Immunodeficiency-like virus ( BIV ) gag P26 protein was cloned into E.coli and expressed as a trpE-P26 fusion protein with a molecular weight of 65kD. The yield of the fusion protein was approximately 28% of the total bacterial protein. The fusion protein can be specifically recognized by the antibody present in the serum from cattle infected with BIV. The recombinant gag P26 protein should enable the detection of antibody to BIV.更多还原
