【Abstract】 The activity of su peroxide dismutase (SOD) and the content of lipid peroxide(LPO) in 24 cases of gastric cancer were tested. As compared with control group, a lower activity of erythfocyte SOD and a higher serum content of LPO in the patients with gastrc cancer was observed. A negative correlation presented between these two para meters The dfference between the cases from the city and from the country side was not obvious. The content of hemoglobin was also lower in the patients than that in the control group The results suggested that in the patients of gastric cancer enhanced free-radical reaction decreased SOD activity and increased LPO content, may lead to metabolic disorder of oxidation and antioxidation. These changes may be an important factor in the pathogen-etic processes of gastrc cancer.更多还原
