【摘要】 <正> 植物之间相生相克现象指的是植物通过向环境分泌化学物质对另一植物产生影响(Rice 1984)。对这种现象的研究不单在植物生态、生理的基本理论上有重大意义,而且在作物增产、森林抚育、植物保护、污染防治及医疗卫生等实践中有着广阔的应用前景。1986~1987年,我们利用凤眼莲来治理富营养化水域获得了满意的效果(孙文浩等1989),原来藻类繁生的水域种植了凤眼莲后,藻类显著减少甚至消失,水变

【Abstract】 In the former investigation it was demonstrated that water hyacinth (Eichhornia crassipes [Mart] Solm) had an allelopathic effect on algae. An attempt was made to isolate and purify the allelopathic compounds both from plant root and from the aquatic environment. This paper describes the results of extraction, purification and identification of algalcidal chemicals from the root system of water hyacinth.Three compounds possessing antialgal activities were isolated and purified from acetone extract of water hyacinth roots by column chromatography and HPLC. The chemical structures of them were identified by NMR, IR, UV, MS, etc. They are N-pheny1-2-naphthylamine(Ⅰ),linoleic acid(Ⅱ) and glycerol-1,9-12 (ZZ)-octadecadienoic ester (Ⅲ). N-pheny1-2-naphthylamine was also found in the culture water in which water hyacinth had been grown. It means that this compound might be biosynthesized in the root of plant and then excreted into the aquatic environment to show its inhibitory effect on algae. Its antialgal activity was stronger than that of the common algaecide CuSO4. This is indeed the first time that N-pheny1-2-naphthylamine is being reported as an allelopathic compound.
