【Abstract】 Sixty-nine cases with esophageal rupture and perforation were reported from Feb, 1966 through May 1990 in this paper. Thirty-one cases were repaired surgically, of which 25 cases (80. 6%) successful, 6 cases (19. 4%) were failure and 7 cases died. The etiology and clinical manifestations were analysed.
