【Abstract】 Physiological abnormities of the livers from market 186 hogs, which had been caused owing to fasting before slaughter, were studied. The results revealed when the fasting time had been prolonged, the liver degeneration areas were expanded, the fatty degenarations of liver cells were exacerbated, the amounts of liver glyco gen decreased till disappeared, the free fatty acid levels in the sera were obviously increased. So the optinum fasting time before slaughter was 20 to 30 hours.更多还原
