【Abstract】 Towards the accomplishment of static television-telephone on the general telephone exchange networks such as cross-bar networks and step-by-step networks, a kind of modulation which is suitable for low-rate image transmission is describled, its performance is analysed. Then, an equalizer and its fast converging tactics are presented in order to solve the problem of heavy distortions of the channels of the general exchange networks.
