碳化硅/铝复合材料热循环损伤的初步研究
Preliminary Studies on Thermal Cycling Damage of SiC/Al Composite
【摘要】 本文描述了空间热环境及热循环模拟试验装置,介绍了碳化硅/铝复合材料热循环损伤的初步研究结果。试验结果表明:在-122℃至+122℃热循环100次,对SiC_p/LY12和正交SiC_f/Al材料的性能都没有显著影响,但是正交的SiC_f/Al板出现了少量微裂纹。45°角铺层的SiC_f/Al板也产生了微裂纹而且弹性模量下降约11%,个别试样热循环前就存在微孔缺陷,成为裂纹源加速了热循环损伤,性能下降更为严重,
【Abstract】 This paper briefly described the apparatus of thermal cycling test which is founded for the needs of metal-matrix cmposites research.The results of preliminary studies on thermal cycling damage of SiC/Al composite were introduced.It was indicated that the properties of SiCo/LY12 and SiC1/Al(0°/90°)were not significantly affected after 100 thermal cycles between-122℃to+122℃,but on SiCf/Al(0°/90°)plates a few microcracks occurred.On SiCf/Al(45°/45°)plates microeracks occurred as well and the elastic modulus decreased about 11%.A few specimens having microporosities before thermal cycling test as crack origin which accelerated the thermal cycling damage showed a more serious drop in the properties.
