【摘要】 <正> 一、引言 林木的直径分布也称森林的直径结构,它是指森林的林木株数按直径大小分布的数量结构状态。是森林许多结构中一种最基本,最重要的结构。 林木直径分布结构变化方程是描述林木直径分布结构随时间变化而变化的方程,也称直径结构转移方程。研究林木直径结构转移方程有重要的意义,因为知道了林木的直径结构就很容易知道森林的立木蓄积量(材积),也能直接或间接地知道描述直径结构的许多指标参数:平均直径、最大最小直径、直径分布方差、各径级的结构比例、总株数、平均密度、单株平均材积等等。这些都是描述林木数量和质更多还原
