【Abstract】 Brassinolide(BR)promoted the vegetative growth of cucumber seedlings and raisedthe vigorous seedling index by 40～69%.BR also increased the rate of photosynthates dis-tributed to leaves and helped leaf growth,and greatly lowered leaf transpiration.The bleed-ing sap and the K~+ ion absorption of the treated seedlings were 2.7～3.2 and 4.3～6.4 timesas much as the non-treated plants.The water and mineral nutrient absorption and stressresistibility were increased significantly.The fruit yield was 10～17% higher than theuntreated control.更多还原
