【Abstract】 A new process for the synthesis of polycarbonate by cyclization technique, which was revealedby GE Co. recently, was introduced in this paper. The synthesis of the cyclic carbonate oligorner,the mechanism and condition of the cyclization, the process for ring opening polymerization, aswell as the effect of the new process on the improvement of the properties and the effect on thedevelopment of new grade of polycarbonate were described.更多还原
