【Abstract】 The apparent resistivity definition is used in the electrical prospection. At present, the far-zone apparent resistivity definition is usually used in the frequency domain electromagnetic methods. But since the distance between transmitter and receiving location is not sufficiently large in the frequency sounding methods, the far-zone apparent resistivity doesn’t reflect the actual resistivity value on the lower frequency. The writers give definitions to the "whole-zone definition" apparent resistivity and introduce correction factor K.The calculation of the two-layer or three-layer models and the field measurement data proves that the method is effective.更多还原
