【Abstract】 A complete solution in the form of series for the static problem of spherical shallow shells with consideration of transverse shear deformation is obtained. In the derivation, the displacements and stress resultants are expressed explicitly in terms of the stress function and normal displacement function. It is proved that the stress function is bound to be multivalued as to keep the displacement components to be unique; and it is also derived the relation between the multivalued stress function and the stress resultants acting on the boundary of the spherical shell.更多还原
