【Abstract】 An automatic control system composed of three stages of distributed computer control, i. e. managerial stage, centralised control stage and direct control stage, is presented for use in automatic high rise warehouses. DDK-1 control unit composed of SYSMAC C-120 PLC made by OMRON Co., Japan is used as the hardware of control system for S/R machine. Automatic control of individual machines is set by a switch on the face plate of operation desk and implemented by PLC automatically.
