【Abstract】 Starting from analysing the characteristics of Chinese text and ChineseCharacters and the developing trends of word retrieval pattern of natural langu-age at home and abroad, the history of development, the retrieval performanceand the optimized measures of single Chinese character retrieval pattern aresystematically studied in the article.
