【Abstract】 We studied the chromosomal complement of Mongolian Pony by employing the short-term peripheral blood lymphocytes culture method and found that the chromosomal number of the male Mongolian pony is 2n=64. of which 31 pairs are autosomes and 1 pairs sex chromosome(XY type). Among 31 pairs of autosomes. 13 pairs are metacentric chromosomes and 18 pairs are telocentric chromosomes. The X chromosome is submetacentric, Y chromosomo is telocentric.更多还原
