【Abstract】 A one-dimensional and time-dependent numerical model for nocturnal atmo-spheric boundary layer is established,with which simulation is made of the characteris-tics of cloudless and cloudy nocturnal inversions. By comparison of the two cases,the in-fluence of clouds on inversion development is discussed.
