【Abstract】 The definition of critical value/index and capacity of heavy metal in soil was discussed. The critical index was an available concentration of heavy metal in soil, to which the plant growing: in the soil begins to show measurably or visibly toxieated symptoms. This value was relative uniform among different soils for the similar plants. While the total amount of heavy metal in the soil at this conditions was the soil capacity of heavy metal, which was always different from soil to soil.更多还原
