【Abstract】 A new concept, null pressure/minimum pressure (called null pressure ratio α) of an accumulator of a hydranlic rock drill, is named and used for discussion in this paper. The relation between the null pressure ratio α and septum curvature β is discussed, which gives a decision criterion to you for the charged pressure magnitude of the accumulator. On the basis of performance requirement and for a longest septum life. the authors propose that the a value, when β=0.5, should be taken as the criterion for determination of the accumulator’s charged pressure.更多还原
