【Abstract】 Based on the analysis of wear mechanism of mill grinding balls, a new kind of micro-alloyed high Si cast steel balls and corresponding interrupting normalization heat treated process are developed. It is verified by study and long period industrial application that the developed ZG55SiCrMoTiBRE cast steel grinding balls treated with the interupting normalization process has high hardness, good toughness as well as good wear resistance, the wear life of wich is 3 times higher than that of wrought steel balls and 1 times than that of ZG55 cast steel balls.更多还原
