【Abstract】 Sixty five cases of heart failure were observed with double blind method.The patients randomised to amrinone group re- ceived a loading dose of 1mg/kg followed by a continuous infusion of 7.5 μg·kg^-1/min for six hours,this infusion dose was given once a day for seven day period.Heart function in amrinone group was improved in 71.9%（23/32）cases compared to 36.4%（12/33）in plocebo group;car- diac index in Doppler echocardiograph changed from 3.36±0.87 to 3.88 ±1.03(L.min^-1/m²)（P<0.05）and 3.29±0.17 to 3.24±1.02(L.min^-1/ m²)（P>0.05）respectively.Hemodynamic changes of 8 cases in the first six hours showed that the maxium increasement of cardiac index was 23.8%,the correlation was significant between cardiac index and serum drug concentration（r=0.64,P<0.05）.The agent lowered sys- temic resistance by 34.8%,pulmonary vascular resistance by 37.1%,pul- monary capillary wedge pressure by 37.5%.Six cases（6/32,18.8%） had premature ventricular beats in amrinone group,but 3（3/33,9.1%） in placebo.It is concluded that intravenous anarinone of home made can be used in the treatment of heart failure.更多还原
