【摘要】 <正> Let F be an arbitrary field of characteristic p≠2, and L be an infinite Lie, algebra ofCartan type (graded or complete). When p>3 (or p is arbitrary), the set of ad-nilpotent(or quasi-nilpotent) elements of L is determined.
