【Abstract】 In order to observe the spermicidal effect of cnidium monnieri at different times, semen samples were obtained from 18 healthy men. After natural liquefaction of semen samples, abstract solutions of cnidium monnieri with same quantity and various concentration were put into the samples. It is found that cnidium monnieri has a definite spermicidal effect on spermatozoa in vitro. There is a close relationship between the spermicidal effect, the concentration and dosage of cnidium monnieri. Cnidium monnieri may be a new kind of spermicidal contraceptive per vagina.更多还原
