【Abstract】 In this article a new indicator reaction is de-veloped on the basis of manganese-catalysed oxi-dation of crystal violet by potassium periodatewith the use of nitrilotriacetic acid as an activa-tor.The method has high selectivity,its Sandellsensitivity is 2.32×10^-5 μg/mLMn,and its linearrange is 63.5～380.7 ng/26.2 mLMn at roomtemperature.It has been applied to determinetrace amounts of Mn（Ⅱ）in grain and legumecrops with excellent results.更多还原
