【Abstract】 The immunity of the patients with malignant tumors (PMTs) is generally suppressed and injured to some degree, especially during the treatment with chemotherapy. In order to prevent the PMTs during the treatment with chemotherapy from the injury of immunity, we have studied the effect of fetal liver cell transfusion (FLT) on the phagocytosis of macrophages (PhM) in 45 PMTs treated with chemotherapy supplemented by FLT, and 60 PMTs treated with chemotherapy supplemented by ginseng root sap (GRS). The result showed that the PhM—elevating rate of PMTs in the FLT group is 89.9% (40/45), significantly higher than that (63.3%) in the GRS group (38/60) (P<0.01). To sum up, our data suggest that FLT has an obvious irritant function to elevate the PhM in the PMTs, i. e, FLT can elevate the immunity of the PMTs, and it is more effetive than GRS. Therefore, FLT is a useful supplemtary immunological method in the chemotherapy of PMTs.更多还原
