【Abstract】 In this paper,we study the structural characteristics of a kind of new solid carbide end mill.Several experiments have been done about the cutting ability, machining efficiency,surface roughness of machined groove and so on for this kind of end mill.The experimental results have shown that the new kind of end mill is a new type of carbide end mill with very good performance.
