【Abstract】 An improvement both on shape and on size of the insert, a part of the alpha-tross He~ ion source made by NEC in USA, reduces greatly the possibility of a kind of trouble, which took place very often in this source, that is the migration of Rb toward canal and BN insulator. As a result, the lifetime becomes much longer than before. Recently it has been running for 350h without any problems.更多还原
