The operation and some improvements of the EN-18 tandem transferred from Oxford University were described. Up to now the terminal voltage has already reached 6 MV, voltage stability better than 2 kV. Four beam lines have been constructed and some experiments were made. The vacuum of main body of the EN-tandem has been improved by a simple way. Some parts of the main body are replaced by China made ones. The control system of the EN-tandem are renewed and modernized partly.
