【Abstract】 The result of studying extrusion screw with lengthened L/D for spinning PP fiber is introduced in this paper and the performance tests of the screw are described, it seems the lengthened L/D has influence on extrusion output and melt quality. The points of attention in the scale up design are proposed with a computer simulating the melting situation of extrusion. The designed screw has been used for spinning PP fiber and the data measured in practice agreed with that from the acale up design.更多还原
