【Abstract】 Using synchrotron radiation excited fluorescence analysis, the trace elements change along the hairs of eleven pregnant women during the period of gestation was measured by scanning their single hair. Some results of elements change tendency have been got on the basis of a self comparison method for each individual.The MDL for some elements have been got by comparing with ICP-AES: Ca 4.64×10^-10g, Fe 5.32×10^-12g, Zn 6.53×10^-10g, Cu 4.68×10^-11g.
