【Abstract】 A new radiation intensity expression in atomic emission spectrometry was derived in the present paper. The original expression was tedious and contained certain errors. In order to discuss the effect of decomposition and ionization on radiation intensity I_mn, the expression was rederived under the consideration that decomposition occurs before ionization. The new expression of radiation intensity was obtained which was simpler and more reasonable than the original one.更多还原
