【Abstract】 A simple ICP-electric direct reading spectrometer was designed. ICP is used as its light source. Photo-signals are transformed into electric signals by a photoelectric multiplier,and then the electric signals are amplified by a three-step high input impedance direct current amplifier. Working parameters that influence intensities of analytical spectral lines and background are optimized. Zinc in human hair has been determined.
