Kinetic Determination of Halogen——Ⅱ. Determination of Trace Bromine Ion Based on Its Inhibitory Effect
【摘要】 基于稀磷酸介质,溴离子抑制溴酸钾氧化中性红,建立了测定痕量溴离子的新催化光度法。方法的表观摩尔吸光系数为1.0×106L·mol-1·cm-1,灵敏度为7.9×10-11g/ml(△/0.001,b=1cm),用于测定镁条的硫酸铵中溴。
【Abstract】 A new catalytic spectrophotometric method for the determination of trace Br- has been developed. The method is based on the inhibitory effect of Br- on the oxidation of neutral red by potassium bromate in a solution of diluted H3PO4. The sensitivity of the method is 7.9×10-11g/ml(△A=0.001, b=1cm), the apparent molar absorptivity is 1.0×106L·mol-1·cm-1. The method has been used to determine trace Br- in(NH4)2SO4 and magnesium metal.
