【Abstract】 In this paper, Tri-state adaptive delta modulation is presented for the first time. By simulations of image coding and filtering,it is proved that the dynamic range of Tri-state ADM is 6～10dB larger and the signal-to-noise ratio is 1.5～3.5dB better than conventional Two-state ADM while its filtering without multiplication is maintained.更多还原
