【Abstract】 In the paper, we apply the 2-30 degree harmonic coefficients (GEM8), which are determined by satellite measurements, to calculate the stress field of mantle convection currents under lithosphere in the Taiwan Strait and its adjacent region. After comparison with tectonic geology in this region, we can find the directions of stress field are coincident with that of plate movement in Philipines Sea and the South China Sea region, especially more high degree’ s gravity field (26-30 degree) in the plate convergence region.更多还原
