【Abstract】 Drought tolerance of 2 year old seedlings of Rhus typhina was studied with respect to water physiological ecology of seedlings under different controlled soil drought conditions in green house. The results indicate that Rhus typhina does not belong to the species of typical drought tolerance with dehydration tolerance at low tissue water potential, and it has some characteristics of drought tolerance with dehydration postonement at high tissue water potential. But its water-holding capacity is weaker than those tree species with typical drought tolerance of dehydration postonement at high tissue water potential (e.g.Pinus tabulaeformis) , It is for this relatively passive character of drought tolerance that the ability of drought tolerance of Rhus typhina is subjected to limiting.更多还原
