【Abstract】 The experiment demonstrated that the initial freezing temperature was an important factor influencing the effectiveness of freezing semen. The survival rate of sperms freezed under various temperature levels was significantly different (P<0.01). Precooling the semen to 8℃ and subjecting it to an initial freezing temperature from -70 to -90℃ obtained the best result. The effectiveness of freezing pig semen in different doses and types was not significantly different (P>0.05). Using a semen dose of 30ml in a piece or 15ml in a small plastic bottle, precooling and freezing it at above mentioned temperature conditions, we achieved good results with semen survival rate of 0.39—0.40 and resuscitation rate of 59％.更多还原
