高赖氨酸玉米自交系的遗传潜势及其利用

【摘要】 1984-1989年连续6年以Griffing方法Ⅰ或方法Ⅱ双列交配设计抽样估计当时已有高赖氨酸玉米(opaque-2玉米,简称02玉米)自交系及其杂种F1总体23性状的遗传变异系数和配合力方差。结果表明:其自交系总体在大多数性状上存在丰富的遗传变异,有继续改良利用的潜力。现已育成的高代优良自交系群体中产量及穗部性状的遗传方差主要表现为特殊配合力方差,品质性状则主要表现为一般配合力方差,但特殊配合力方差也很重要。尚未经过配合力选择的早代自交系材料主要性状的一般配合力方差大于已育成优良自交系群体的估计值。各性状的配合力年份间表现相对稳定。本文还简要讨论了配合力方差与遗传方差的关系,并提出了我国o2玉米育种策略的初步设想。

【Abstract】 In 1984 to 1989, 4 sets of diallel crosses produced from a total of 26 inbred lines of opaque-2 maize, randomly selected from the germplasm collection of BAU, were used to investigate the genetic potential and the utilization of opaque-2 maize in North China. 23 agronomy and quality traits were studied, and coefficients of genetic variation (GCV), genetic variances (σξ), variances of combining abilities (σ82s2) and the ratios of 2σ82 to σ8s2(2σ82s2) were estimated. The results indicated that: (1) The genetic variation of most traits studied, especially yield-related and some quality traits, of opaque-2 maize in North China was quite large, which could be utilized in breeding. (2) For the selected inbred lines, main source of genetic variation was from σ82 in yield -related traits, but was mainly from σ82 for quality traits. (3) Additive genetic variances for unseleeted inbred lines were larger than those for selected ones. (4) The estimates of gca and sca were relatively stable from year to year. (5) Some strategies for further improvement of opaque-2 maize in North China were discussed briefly.
