【Abstract】 The aplication of the orthogonal table to the optimum design of involute cylindrical gear has been studied. The results indicate that the method can combine proportionately all the factors in the design formula, and contribute to the selection of an optimal plan. Facts have proved that the gear designed by this method has smooth transmission, compact structure, and better economic effect. The method can not only save much trouble of calculation, but also determine simply and conveniently the optimal value of every factor.更多还原
