【Abstract】 This paper presents the application study ofthe prototype CO₂ laser system which was made inChina.Experimental results showed that theexposure time of laser beam prolonged,the vapori-zed area and depth changed markedly,and thedamage of the surrounding tissue increased.Theauthors suggested that CO₂ laser of proper powerdensity is safer with the method of interruptedexposure and dropping water.The use ofdexamethasone before irradtion can reduce thesurrounding tissue damage.This study demonstratedthat the Chinese made CO₂ laser system has manyadvantages and can be adopted in clinical practice.更多还原
