中重离子焦面探测器系统的研制
STUDY ON THE FOCAL-PLANE DETECTOR SYSTEM FOR MEDIUM HEAVY IONS
【摘要】 研制了一套中重离子焦面探测器系统(500mm长),已通过束流检验并用于核物理实验中。该探测器望远镜是由5个矩形正比管组成,采用30%CH4+70%Ar为工作气体。桌上试验:位置灵敏探测器的本征分辨约0.7mm(FWHM),积分非线性好于0.2%;回旋加速器试验:ΔE探测器分辨约6.3%,E探测器的能量分辨约为10%;在串列加速器上,以60MeV,12C束流,在0.5×105Pa压力下,测得位置的本征分辨约1.3mm,最大积分非线性好于0.62%,ΔE探测器的能量分辨约6%;E探测器的能量分辨约31%。
【Abstract】 A medium heavy ion focal-plane detector system (500mm long) was tested with beam and has been used in nuclear physics experiment, the detector telescope consists of five rectangular proportional counters. The operating gas is 30% CH4 + 70% Ar. In a table experiment, the intrinsic resolution of the position sensitive detector is about 0. 7mm (FWHM), the intergral nonlinearity is better than 0. 2%. In a test experiment at cyclotron, the energy resolution of the AE detector is about 6. 3%, the energy resolution of the E detector is about 10%. The measured results at tandem accelerator with 60 MeV 12C beam for the pressure of 0. 5X 105 Pa are- the intrinsic resolution of the position sensitive detector is about 1. 3mm, the integral nonlinearity is better than 0. 62% 5 the energy resolution of the AE detector is about 6 % ; the energy resolution of the E detector is about 31%.
