【Abstract】 Since many species of the genus Rabdosia have beenshown to have antibacterial, antiphlogistic and antitumoractivities, leaves of the following 12 species of medicinal Rab-dosia were studied by scanning electron microscopy: R.amethystoides, R. japonica var. glaucocalyx, R. rubescens, R.macrocalyx, R. macrophylla, R. serra, R. rosthornii, R. ternifo-lia, R. stracheyi, R. pleiophylla, R. lophanthoides and R. nervosa.The results showed that these species can be easily distin-guished by the characters of cuticular striation, non-glandularhairs, including shape, stereoscopic form, size, surface stria-tion and density.更多还原
