【Abstract】 Based on the investigation carried out in 72 pieces of non - irrigated farmland in Jingbian County,Shaanxi Province,the paper calculates the annual latent amount of wind erosion from different pieces by using the Wind Erosion Equation put forward by two American scholars,N .P. Woodruff and F.H.Siddoway.Through comparison of the calculated results with the patterns of wind erosion on land surface,it is indicated that the results calculated by the Wind Erosion Equation are consistent with the tendency of variation of the patterns of wind erosion on land surface and may represent the actual intensity of wind erosion.It is also proven that the present quantity of crop stubble left in a field and distances between the shelter-forests can not meet the demand of wind erosion control.更多还原
