【Abstract】 Through the field shear test of the ice around the Liao Dong Bay, many empiric data were obtained. Analytical study shows that the magnitude of the shear strength of the top ice lies in the range of some hundred kPa. In a given temperature range, shear strength increases with the decrease of temperature, but decreases with the increase of stress rate. Shear strength normal to the sea level is greater than that paralell to the sea level. Voluminous salt water has a low shear strength.更多还原
