【Abstract】 The structure of the product from the reaction of 2,3,3-trimethyl-3H-indollumperchlorate（1）with 1,5-diphenyl-1.4-pentadien-3-one has been confirmed as 6-styryl-8-phen-yl-10,10-dimethyl-10H-pyrido[1,2-a]indolium perchlorate（4 a）,an authentic specimennsynthesized through the reaction of 6,10,10-trimethyl-8-phenyl-10H-pyrido[1,2-a]indo-lium perchlorate（3）with benzaldehyde.Possible reaction mechanism has been suggested.Inthe course of investigation of λ_max^UV,λ_max^FL,Stokes shift,chemical shift and substituenteffects on UV,FL and ¹H NMR,good linear relationships against substituent constants havebeen observed.更多还原
