The metabolism and toxicity of methanol in rhesus monkey were studied. The results demonstrated that the concentration of formic acid and formaldehyde, two kinds of metabolites of methanol, were markedly differed in blood and in urine. The former appeared to be higher than the latter in a level of 30 times in blood and 29 times in urine respectively.
