【Abstract】 This paper reported the characteristics in distribution pattern of infected snails at high risk areas in Dongting Lake region, analysed the pattern of transmission with different kinds of infectious sources, elucidated the relationship between exposure and infection of residents and confirmd the benefit in reducing the rate of infection with synchronous chemotherapy of human and domestic animals.
